Chalet Papillon 2 is on the first and second floors of the la Rosiere chalet development. This chalet apartment has six bedrooms all with full en-suite facilities. The lounge and adjoining dining area of Chalet Papillon 2 are on the upper level; there is plenty of seating around the log burning fire and a balcony.
These ski chalets have proved to be very popular with regular Ski Beat guests, who love the large ski deposit together with boot warmers on the ground floor, and the two communal saunas.
There is plenty of underground parking in the Papillon complex, which means that if you choose to self drive you can relax and unload your luggage in a dry and safe environment, without the hassle of having to put on coats, snow boots etc.
Rooms 1, 2 and 6 can take a cot.
The chalet's prime position near to the pistes allows you to ski back to within 50m and from 75m. It is close to the Les Eucherts Express 6-seater chairlift, ESF ski school meeting point, kintergarden and nursery slope, all of which are a short walk or ski away in the morning. Les Eucherts links to La Rosiere 1850 via a pretty forest track which can be easily walked in 15 minutes. Alternatively you can take a short local bus ride. However with its own ski school and hire, bowling alley, ice rink, bars and restaurants, Les Eucherts is a convenient centre in itself.
"Lola was a great host, she accommodated my youngest son’s slightly fussy eating habits by letting us know the menus in advance and offering to tweak a few things to ensure he always ate well. The chalets location is superb and whilst it’s been a few years since we stayed in Papillon… it immediately felt like home once more… we were genuinely gutted to leave yesterday morning. "

"Professional and knowledgable as always and Lola and George were great hosts and always willing to help even if they didn’t know the answer they found out. Also explained why things such as soya yoghurts hadn’t arrived. Lola also kept a little bit of vegan cake wrapped up for me for the next days lunch as the French restaurants do not have many choices above chips!"

From wonderful meals, excellent knowledge and making us feel at home as soon as we set inside. She felt like part of our group which was so lovely and even the children felt comfortable chatting to her. She spoke to adults and our children and was always welcoming even when we stopped to chat to her outside in the resort. Hannah and Izzy did a great job filling in on her days off. The girls really made our holiday what it was. Huge thanks to all the team for giving us the best experience."
