Chalet Rose is a smaller, more intimate chalet than some of the others in the area. There is however, ample amounts of space and it provides a comfortable, cosy, alpine atmosphere for those who stay here. Decorated in the traditional Savoyard style with a warming oak interior, Chalet Rose is more than welcoming after an active day on the slopes.
There is an open plan lounge and dining area creating space and ensuring that there is room for all guests to sit and relax after or indeed before a successful days skiing or boarding. With access to a wonderful south facing balcony guests can enjoy an incredible view of the Plagne Centre slopes. This is the perfect spot for taking in the fresh alpine air and enjoying some of that winter sunshine.
The living area is well decorated with guests’ comfort in mind. There is plenty of seating with couches all angled towards the flat screen TV and more importantly, an essential part of your ski chalet stay, a large fireplace. Evenings can be spent curled up on the couches in front of the roaring fire, perhaps with a glass of wine in hand- it’s the perfect way to end a day in the snow if you simply haven’t got the energy for much else.
Chalet Rose consists of 3 bedrooms and 3 en-suite bathrooms. Room 1 is a triple en-suite room with a double bed and bunk beds. Room 2 is a twin en-suite. Room 3 is a triple en-suite room with twin beds and bunk beds. If you are taking sole occupancy of Chalet Rose, the chalet can accommodate an additional two children under twelve. Please call 01273 855100 for details.
Rooms 1 and 2 can take a cot.
Given that Chalet Rose is located in Plagne Centre, naturally it is at the centre of everything you need. Overlooking the Plagne Centre pistes and the ski school meeting points, your access to some top notch ski and boarding is just as easy to reach as can be. Located on the second floor of the Orée des Pistes building, you are beside the Oxygéne Ski School and within a snowballs throw of the many shops and restaurants that the area has on offer.
Enjoying the best of both worlds, Chalet Rose is perfectly located for those who want to hit the slopes without too much hassle but can also boast easy access to some of the most popular aprés-ski spots including the much loved Scotty’s bar the Igloo bar, both less than a five minute walk away.
" Our chalet host, Annie, was absolutely amazing. Couldn't fault her in any way - if there's an 'employee of the month' (or season even!), she would be a worthy winner from my perspective. The fact that the whole chalet turned up in Scotties on Wednesday to buy her a well-deserved pint shows what a good job she's doing! It was also really nice to see her and Charlotte working as a team between chalets - it made it feel even more friendly, supportive and homely. A really good reflection of the SkiBeat team and ethics. The information provided on the transfers was spot-on. Delivered in an understandable and efficient manner. No unnecessary selling-on of unwanted extras (like you get with Crystal) - just clear and useful information. Excellent work all round :) "
J.Salter, Stayed in Chalet Lily, March 2019
" Our Chalet Host, Annie was an absolute gem. She really went out of her way to make sure all our needs were met and I don't think we were an easy group, with various (changing) dietary requirements which mean she had to respond 'on the hoof'. She really was incredibly conscientious and so willing to please; never without a smile. When she told us she was the youngest of the whole La Plagne Chalet Host Team we were amazed as her approach to looking after her chalet and her guests was so mature and way beyond her tender years! Such a capable and affable young woman. She will go far! "
P.Hunt, Stayed in Chalet Lily, January 2019
"Annie our host was absolutely incredible. She made our entire holiday. All the food was scrumdidilyumpyitious, the chalet was spick and span and Annie always had a smile like a Cheshire Cat all week. The chalet was warm and welcoming, nothing too much trouble for Annie and she would always go the extra mile. We had such a great week and anyone staying in chalet Rose is in for a treat! "
